Pranitha Subhash pays tribute to Chiru, Sushant by helping needy during COVID-19

Bengaluru: With the loss of two talented stars in the span of one week, the film industry is trying to recover from the sudden shock.

Sandalwood star Chiranjeevi Sarja succumbed to cardiac arrest on June 7 and Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide in his Mumbai apartment, on June 14, leaving behind a huge void in the entertainment industry.

Many stars are trying their best to stand by these star actors’ families in these difficult times.

With the COVID 19 surging day by day, multi-lingual actress Pranitha Subash has gone a step ahead to help the needy in memory of these two actors.

On June 20, Pranitha distributed ration kits and sanitary pads to around 150 sex workers in memory of the late actors.

She takes inspiration from Infosys Foundation Chairperson Sudha Murthy.

Pranitha has been in the frontline in helping poor, needy during the lockdown. She got herself involved in food kit distribution and food arrangement activities.

She had also distributed masks and sanitizers to police personnel.

Pranitha, who has started her charity foundation has adopted government schools. During the lockdown, through this foundation, she has helped more than 500 poor families and provided 75000 food kits for 21 days for the daily wage workers.
