Yograj Bhat, the director of “Panchatantra” has been getting rave reviews. The film, which was released last Friday, opened to a good response across the state, despite the IPL fever reaching an all-time high. Now, the film is all set to be remade in Telugu.
In “Panchatantra”, which is a humorous take on car racing, the competition is between the younger and older generations. In the Telugu version, however, the filmmakers are planning to turn it into a competition between the two Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film will reportedly be titled “Andhra Vs Telangana”, however, an official confirmation on the same is awaited.
Meanwhile, it is also being said that talks are ongoing for a Hindi version of the film. Karthik Tiwari, who is riding high from the back-to-back successes, is being roped in to reprise his role, Vihaan, in the film.
