Bengaluru:Nikhil Kumaraswamy, Kannada actor and son of former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy got engaged to Revathi, on Monday at the Taj West End, in the city.
Revathi, who is also known as Rithu is the grand niece of former minister M Krishnappa. Her father Manju, who is the newphew of Krishnappa is into real estate business.
The tastefully designed engagement venue looked ethereal with hues of pastels and pinks.
Nikhil and Revathi were seen in colour co-ordinated outfits and the newly engaged couple was all smiles.
While Nikhil opted for a white and pink sherwani, the bride to-be opted for a pastel pink zari saree.
The leaders across Karnataka’s political spectrum was reportedly present at the engagement ceremony of the 30-year-old actor, who also tried his hands on politics.
The couple exchanged the ring and then cut a cake in presence of family and friends.
Nikhil’s grandfather and former PM HD Devegowda and his grandmother Chennamma blessed the couple.
