After making a grand debut with “Gultoo”, which has become a sleeper hit, Naveen Shankar has signed on for his second film. The yet-to-be titled project, directed by newcomer, Dattatreya, will be produced by Paramesh under the banner of P2 Production.
The film will be a rom-com told in a non-linear style. The film will feature Naveen as a common man. It will have a realistic presentation. The remaining cast and crew of the film will be announced soon. Naveen was expected to act in a film called as “Grammayana”. However, as the budget of the film is high, Naveen decided to work on the rom-com first, as it is a safe genre and also increases his market before venturing into big budget films.
Naveen Shankar’s debut film “Gultoo” was on cyber crime. The film will be completing 50 days. Released without much hype, the film garnered great critical as well as audience reviews, which helped the film to do well at the box office.
