Poorigali:Sandalwood actor MP Ramya alleged that she had told her co-actor Jaggesh that she was not able to act in the movie – Neer Dose, Jaggesh seems to have engaged in propaganda either to get publicity or politically motivated, alleged Ramya.
Ramya was replying to the queries of media persons about the controversy plaguing the movie – Neer Dosa, when Ramya had arrived at Poorigali village to thank the voters in casting the votes for her in the recently held bypolls in Mandya lok sabha constituency.
I was not interested to act in the movie – Neer Dose, when the producer and director pleaded my father in this regard, I agreed to act. I have repeatedly told them that I will not act, in spite they held press meet without my consent when it became a controversy, said Ramya.
There have been hiccups since the beginning of shooting. Its due to lack of co-ordination between the producer and director, the dates that I have allotted for shooting did not work. Many a times, the mobile phone of director was switched off.
Jaggesh was avoiding the shooting with excuses.Its owing to this, Ramya had to sit idle at home for nearly one month. She used to remind them to go ahead with the shooting. It’s now, Jaggesh who is to be unworried over the issue, now created a controversy either for publicity or politically motive, lamented Ramya. She also urged not to drag cinema to politics.
