Actress Serah Singh is the only actor who appears to be acting and had done a brilliant job in the movie. Other actors including Himash Kohli, Rakul Preet Singh, Dev Sharma and have given a below average performance in the film.”

According to sources, “Divya deserves kudos for accepting the challenge of directing freshers in her debut film. The best of storytellers are not afraid of taking risks and Divya seems to be one of those. Her handling of the humorous moments as well as the emotional ones with maturity confirms the fact that she knows the craft well. But one does feel that the writing could’ve been sharp edged at places. Serah Singh is pretty, and has a large and expressive pair of eyes and got audience glued on her others were not able to make their impact.”

Reports said,“The first half of Yaariyan is pretty good. Good comic punches, great music and decent performances make it worth watching. The songs are peppy and colourful and will certainly cheer you up every time you regret walking into the theatre. Performance wise Serah Singh has ruled in Yaariyan and steals the heart of audience through her mind blowing acting skill.”
