Shooting for “Muniratna Kurukshetra” will end on December 20. It was previously said that Regina Cassandra or Ramya Nambeesan, may play the role of Princess Bhanumati to Duryodhana. But the makers have decided to cast a Kannada actress and have selected Meghana Raj for the role.
“The producer of Muniratna was particular that they rope in a Kannada heroine to play Bhanumanti and they chose Meghana. They had even kept scenes with Duryodhana and Bhanumati pending and now they are happy that they have made the right choice,” sources said.
This will be Meghana’s second period drama, after “Allama Prabhu”. The film is scheduled to be released in the month of February.
