Malayali heroines have a special connection with Sandalwood. In the past few years, we have seen many Malayalam heroines acting in Kannada films and also becoming popular here. Navya Nair, Parvarthy, Bhavana Menon, Bhama and Nithya Menon are some of the Malayalam actress who have made a name here. Now, joining the list is Manasa Radhakrishnan.
She will be making her debut in “Appa Amma Preethi”, which is Vinay Rajkumar’s fourth film as a lead. The film also marks the directorial debut of Sridhar. Manasa was in Bengaluru recently to complete all the legal formalities regarding the film. Starting her career as a child artiste in 2008, she has worked in nine films including “Paultettante Veedu”, “Crossroads”, “Tiyaan” and “Kattu”.
The film produced by NLN Murthy, will take off once Vinay is done with his present project- “Anantu v/s Nusrat”, a Sudheer Shanbhogue directorial. The film will have the real-life couple Sharatkumar and Radhika Sharatkumar in pivotal roles. The music will be scored by Judah Sandy.
