Mumbai: The dancing diva and astonishing actress Madhuri Dixit – Nene is all set to blaze the B-town with her upcoming movies. Know for her flambeaux acting, after her come back though Madhuri has not been able to create the same charm as before. However the upcoming movie like “Dedh Ishqiya” a sequel to the 2010 hit “Ishqiya” and “Gulab Gang” has already created immense speculation and anticipation in the glare.
With reference to “Dedh Ishqiya”, the makers revealed that for the role of Begum in “Dedh Ishqiya” Madhuri was the only choice as the character was written keeping her in mind. Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj was in touch with the actress for the role even before she had shifted back to India from the USA.
On the other hand, the first poster of “Gulaab Gang” were Madhuri Dixit is seen in the Kaali avatar, the sweltering combination of red and yellow colours in the background adds to the inquisitiveness about her role in the film.
Madhuri, who has often played a modest girl next door in Bollywood films, takes on the role of a woman who leads a group of women vigilantes to fight against injustice in the Bundelkhand region, as she herself commented saying, “Its a very powerful character.”
In both the films, “Dedh Ishqiya” and “Gulaab Gang”, Madhuri has an astonishing character with is elegant and at the same time prevailing.
