‘Devaki’, which has been directed by Lohith H is all set to release in May, this year. The distribution rights have been bought by KRG Studios through an NRA (non-refundable advance) agreement. Film distributions with an NRA agreement happen only with big-budget films or films starring established stars. Such an agreement with KRG Studios for a female-oriented film has created a positive vibe in Sandalwood.
This is Lohith’s second film as a director. Lohith had previously directed Priyanka in ‘Mummy – Save Me’, which did well commercially. ‘Devaki’ is a thriller based in Kolkata. The film is about child trafficking. Priyanka Upendra plays the lead role in the film. Priyanka’s real life daughter Aishwarya plays a pivotal role in ‘Devaki’.
HC Venu is the cameraman for ‘Devaki’, and Nobin Paul has composed the music. The film has been produced by Raveesh and Akshay.
