Kiccha Sudeepa’s much expected “Kotigobba 3” is all set to go on floors on March 2. The film which is being produced by Surappa Babu will be helmed by a newbie director. Shiva Karthik, who is currently in Bengaluru, is readying the script and will be directing the film.
The shooting of the film will not start now. As March 2 is an auspicious day, the makers will start with the song recording. Surappa Babu, who was lying low with a series of flops, made a big comeback after “Kotigobba 2”, which he produced, became a blockbuster. The film was made in two languages- Kannada and Tamil. However, the Tamil version was a flop. Therefore “Kotigobba 3” will not be made in Tamil.
“Kotigobba 3” has music by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Shekar Chandru. It will have Sudeepa in the role of a con man and will be a wholesome mass-entertainer. The film is expected to complete shooting by this year’s end.
