Yash starrer “KGF”, which was initially scheduled to be released on November 16, been postponed. The film will now be released on December 21, during Yash’s favourite season- Christmas.
The star’s blockbusters, “Mr & Mrs Ramachari” and “Masterpiece” were also released during the same period. Reportedly, the release has been postponed as the makers want to release dubbed versions – Hindi and other South Indian languages – simultaneously.
The Hindi dubbed version will be distributed by Farhan Akhtar’s and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, along with Bollywood distributor Anil Thadani under AA Films Worldwide. They have, for the first time, come forward to distribute a Kannada film in Hindi.
Model-turned-actor Srinidhi Shetty will be making her debut in this film. Bhuvan Gowda is handling the cinematography and Ravi Basrur is scoring the music. The actor will be aggressively promoting the film all over India and may become the next pan-Indian star after Prabhas from South India, if “KGF” clicks with the masses.
