Bengaluru: As the #MeToo movement gets heated up in Sandalwood in the sexual harassment row between Arjun Sarja and Shruthi Hariharan, the Film Chamber of Commerce has chaired a meet today, October 25 evening, possibly aimed at a settlement.
The sources from the chamber have said that the meet arranged today is completely based on a complaint that was filed by Arjun Sarja’s representative veteran actor Rajesh.
Meanwhile, Shruthi Hariharan arrived at the Film Chamber with her lawyer Ananth Nayak.
Director K Manju, Actor Doddanna, producers Rockline Venkatesh, film maker Roopa Iyer, actress Pooja Gandhi and many other personalities from the film industry joined the meet.
The settlement meet is being chaired by actor and President of Artistes’ Association Ambareesh.
People started coming in at around 4 PM and Arjun Sarja arrived by 5: 30 PM.
A massive crowd was seen gathering outside the Film Chamber premises. A contingent of police has been deployed on spot, to handle any unusual circumstances.
Ambareesh accompanied by film maker Kavitha Lankesh and Roopa Iyer was having a closed door meeting with Shruthi Hariharan when reports last came in.
