It is the norm for Bollywood films to be released overseas before the home market but, in the Kannada film industry, it is rare for films to see a release overseas. The films which do see a release overseas, get a release in the domestic market a few months later. But, that is not the case with Senna Hegde’s directorial “Katheyondu Shuruvagide”.
The film will see a world premiere this month. It will be screened in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, Europe and the US on July 27 and 28. The film, starring Diganth and Pooja Devariya, will release on August 3. The cast also includes Shreya Anchan and Ashwin Rao Pallaki.
“Katheyondu Shuruvagide” is produced by Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah, Rakshit Shetty, Senna Hegde and Vinod Divakar. The film has music by Sachin Warrier and cinematography by Sreeraj Raveendran.
