Kannadiga’s debut movie wins International award

Mysuru: Director Ram Reddy who won two awards for his movie ‘Thithi’ at Locarno international film festival held in Switzerland was felicitated by Chief minister Siddaramaiah at his residence ‘Kaveri’ on Wednesday.
The movie has bagged two awards given for director’s first(debut) or second movie and best screenplay.

Ram Reddy, a 25 year old, has succeeded in winning the prestigious award in his first attempt. The movie was shot at neighboring Mandya district and deals with the life of three generations after the death of one of the elderly person of the family.

Iregowda is the assistant screenplay writer and many amateur actors are a part of the movie. Experts from several places have worked in the technical department.

Information and Public Relations Department Director R. Vishukumar and Karnataka Film Academy Register H B  Dinesh were present.

Ramareddy felicitated at Bengaluru:
Film Director Rajendrasing Babu, Director Dept of Information Vishu Kumar felicitating Ramareddy for “Thithi” LOCARNO 2015 International Film Festival for winning Film Director at Information Dept in Bengaluru on Thursday. Film Director P.Sheshadri, Co Producer Hiregowda, Anitha Mother of Ramareddy were present on the occasion.
