The Kannada dubbed version of the blockbuster Telugu film “Rangasthalam” is scheduled to be out in theatres on July 12. This will be the first time a film starring Ram Charan is getting a Kannada version. The Sukumar-directed movie, titled “Rangasthala” in Kannada, will be distributed by producer Jack Manju and team.
“Rangasthalam” has been produced by Y Naveen, Y Ravi Shankar and C V Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. It stars Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni in the lead along with Anasuya Bharadwaj, Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj in other pivotal supporting roles. Music for the film has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film got a worldwide release on March 30, 2018 and grossed around Rs 210 crores.
Recently, the Malayalam version of the film was dubbed and subsequently released. Normally, films dubbed in Kannada have not done well at the box office. Let us wait and see if “Rangasthalam” will change the trend.
