‘Jabardasth Shankara’ opens to excellent response

It looks like 2019 is Coastalwood’s best year. Roppesh Shetty’s “Girgit” was a huge hit upon release and now “Jabardasth Shankara” seems to be following the same trend. It received a great response upon its release today.

It took the team 34 days to complete the shoot for the film, which has many new artises. The two-hour-and-ten-minute long film was shot in different areas of Mangaluru, Moodbidri, Padadka, Kalladka and the Vamanjoor temple. Around 500 to 600 dance artistes were involved in the movie.

The film has been released in Big Cinemas, PVR and Cinepolis in Mangaluru, Ashirvad, Inox and Big Cinemas in Udupi, Natraj in Suratkal, Aruna Talkies in Puttur, Santhosh Talkies in Sullia, Krishna Talkies in Kasargod, Amarashree in Moodbidri, Bharath in Beltangady and in other theatres in several other districts.

Made under the Jalanidhi Films banner, the film has been produced by Anil Kumar and Lokesh Kottyan. Apart from directing the film, Devadas Kapikad has also written the story, screenplay, dialogues, and lyrics. Rajesh Kudla is the executive producer and popular Sandalwood music composer Kadri Manikanth has composed the music. The technical crew includes Sujith Nayak (editor), Siddu G.S and Uday Ballal (DOOP) and Mass Mada (stunts).

The film stars Arjun Kapikad, Neetha Ashok, Rashi Balakrishna, Devadas Kapikad, Saikrishna Kudla, Gopinath Bhat, Sathish Bandale, Prathik Sheetty, Mimicry Sharan, Sunil Nelligudde, Laxman Mallur and Girish Shetty Kateel in pivotal roles.
