Income Tax officials launched a series of raids at the residences of popular actors and film producers of Kannada cinema, on Thursday, January 3.
Actors Puneeth Rajkumar, Shivrajkumar, Sudeep, Yash and producers Rockline Venkatesh, CR Manohar, Vijay Kirgandur among the actors and producers whose residences have been raided by the IT officials.
“I think the big budgets of The Villain, KGF and Natasarvabhouma must have caused these raids. I am not sure, though. But, it seems like the only reason as personally I have a clean record,” Sudeep told the media outside his residence in Bengaluru.
