We had recently revealed that Jaggesh, who is known for his comic timings will be acting in the role of serial killer in his next, which has been titled “8MM”. The poster and title of the film was released recently. And it looks the film is a remake of a successful Tamil film.
Though the team has not divulged any details nor the story of the film, the stills of the film indicate that the film is a remake of a Tamil hit film “8 Thottakkal”. The film is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller drama film written and directed by Sri Ganesh. Produced by Vellapandian, the film stars Vetri in the lead role, alongside an ensemble cast including Aparna Balamurali, Nassar and M S Bhaskar.
The film is all set to be launched on the 22nd of September in Kanteerava Studio in Bengaluru. Yash will be the chief guest on the occasion. The film is being directed by debutante Harikrishhna and Narayan Swamy, Infant Pradeep and Saleem Shah are the producers of the film. Vincent is the cinematographer, while Judah Sandy is the music director.
