It was recently reported that popular Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty would be acting in Sudeep starrer “Phailwan”, is this news has not fizzled out. The hottest gossip now is that Suniel will apparently be seen in another Sandalwood venture titled “Pirangipura”.
The film, being directed by Janardhana P Johnny, has already been creating a buzz with its first look revealing Sanchari Vijay as the lead actor. Suniel Shetty has reportedly been approached to play the antagonist.
It is said that Janardhana approached the Bollywood actor in Mumbai. According to Janardhana, Suniel Shetty’s portions in the film will be shot in August in Rajasthan.
Touted to be a psychological drama and thriller, the film’s music is by Shyam L Raj and cinematography by Jaikrishna. It is said that Suniel will be playing the role of a king in the film.
However, according to sources close to Bollywood, Suniel Shetty has clarified that he has not signed on for any other Kannada film apart from Krishna directorial, “Phailwaan”. An official announcement regarding Suniel Shetty is expected to be out soon.
