Popular Kannada director Guruprasad, who has directed movies like “Mata”, “Director’s Special”, and “Eradane Sala” is all set to play a lead role for the first time with the movie “Kushka”. In the past, he has been seen essaying small roles in various films.
The film is directed by Vikram Yoganand who has produced critically-acclaimed Kannada movies like “Heegondhu Dina”. Guruprasad is playing the role of a gangster in this crime-comedy flick. The teaser of the film was recently released to a good response from audiences.
In the past, we have seen several directors turn to acting. However, only Sandalwood superstar Upendra has been successful in this regard. Whether Guruprasad can achieve the same level of success as a lead actor remains to be seen.
