We have seen many actors turn directors. Sudeep, Rakshit Shetty and Ganesh have tried their luck in direction after becoming actors. Joining the list is Shankar Bahadhur, who has played lead roles in films like “Ondhu Preethiya Kathe”, “Chitramandiradalli” and “Sadagara, Marali Manege”. He will now be making his directorial debut in a yet-to-be-titled film.
He has roped in Naveen Shankar to play the lead in the political-crime thriller. For Naveen, whose first film “Gultoo” is heading towards a 100-day run, the latest will be the third in his kitty. Naveen, who will start shooting his second film from July end will be juggling two projects.
Naveen will be sharing screen space with Sumanth Bhat. The film is about two guys with a political background, who have been hired to commit a crime. The score is by Gurukiran, who Shankar feels will be able to blend in the diverse backgrounds of the two main actors.
