Post the unlock phase, Groufie is one of the initial Kannada films to hit theatres. The movie which will hit screens on August 20, has a riveting trailer that was recently released by Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar. Directed by D Ravi Arjun, the movie stars newcomers Aryan and Padmashree Jain and is of the horror and suspense genre.
The trailer begins with some pleasant music and eye-pleasing visuals. It shows the hero undertakes a journey away from the city to a distant hill station and he arrives at a mansion. It looks like the hero is the only occupant of that house and soon the mood becomes eerie and strange events unfold. The trailer ends with the hero lying on a hospital bed and a silent tear flows down his cheek. The trailer needless to say has fetched everyone’s praise. Meanwhile, the audio of the film was released recently by ace composer Arjun Janya, who was all praise for it. The lyrics for these songs have been written by ace writers like Jayanth Kaikini, Chetan Kumar, Hrudaya Shiva amongst others.
Groufie has been shot at many scenic locations including Galibeedu, Mallalli falls and Harihara under the trained lens of Laxmikant. Made under the Lia Global Media banner and produced by KG Swamy, Groufie will hit theatres on August 20.
