Bangalore : In a first of its kind in the history of Kannada film industry the Star Launch of Cinema My Darling the maiden movie to be directed by famous anchor Gowrish Akki, was held at a glittering ceremony in the capital recently.
The lead actors of the film who were selected in the auditions held at the Garuda mall in the city recently,were introduced to the gathering at the Star Launch. Chandana, Manasa and Manjula who impressed the judges at the auditions as well as Vihan, Manojava, Shreyas and Shashi Deshpande, who will play the roles in the film were present and were introduced to a celebrity gathering.
Eminent directors Guruprasad, Pavan Kumar, Giriraj, Vijayaprasad Yogish, Prasad, Producers Jack Manju, Suresh, film distributor Mallikarjuna, actors Rakshith Shetty, Vinayaka Joshi, Sonu Gowda and others were present.
A small video presentation on the launch of the film career of Gowrish Akki was screened on the occasion.
The shooting for the film ‘Cinema My Darling’ will commence by month end. The music is by Raghu Dixit while the camera works will be handled by PL Ravi. Supporting actors Rangayana Raghu, Petrol Prasanna and others are expected to contribute to the success of the film through their impressive performance.
The celebrity judges for the auditions held recently were Rakshith Shetty, Yajna Shetty, Satish Neenasam and Meghana Gaonkar along with Gowrish Akki.
