Following a recent controversy, the film producers association has warned popular actress South Indian actress Nithya Menen of a ban from the industry.
According to sources, Nithya Menen has not been interacting with the film producers and turning down their offers. The producers allege that Nithya is not showing interest in working in films and has been throwing her weight around for being a top actress.
Reportedly, few producers had tried to approach Nithya with film offers during the shooting of one of her films. However, the actress refused to meet them. Outraged by this, the producers warned of banning her from the film industry.
In response to the controversy, Nithya says that her mother is suffering from stage 3 cancer and that she has been working in films with this pain. She added that she was only completing those movies that she was already committed to. “After the shoot, I sit alone in my caravan and cry. Nobody will understand the mental agony I am going through,” says the actress.
