Bengaluru: Renowned Kannada cinema producer K.C.N Chandrashekhar (69), who produced numerous blockbuster films including "Babruvahana," died here on Sunday June 13. For a long time, he had been suffering from age-related diseases.
Chandrashekar was greatly influenced by his father, K.C. Nanjunde Gowda, and continued to make over 50 films.
He also served as the president of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) and South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SFICC).
Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa extended his condolences, saying that the Kannada film industry had lost a great director with his death.
