Bengaluru: Close on the heels of the CCB serving summons to anchor Anushree, she has left to Mangaluru to appear for the questionig, today, September 25.
However, the achor has said that she is going to Mangaluru for the questioning and it in no way makes her an accused in the drug scandal that is haunting Sandalwood.
Issuing a statement, after a few media started portraying her as an accused in the case, the anchor said that she will co-operate in the probe by giving all the information that she has.
The anchor will be quizzed at Pandeshwara station by DCP Vinay Gaonkar.
Anushree’s name cropped up in the drug scandal after the arrest of dancer Kishore Aman Shetty from Suratkal.
Though he had mentioned that an achor-actor from Mangaluru was a part of many drug parties, there was no evidence to summon Anushree.
With the arrest of Kishore’s friend Tarun Raj led the CCB gathered evidences and reportedly summoned Anushree.
