Dinakar Thoogudeepa is all set to direct his brother, Darshan once again. Dinakar, who has worked with Darshan on “Navagraha” and “Sarathi” as a director, has apparently registered the title “Shivanandi” as his next. The inspiration for the new title comes from the hit song “Shivanandi” from Darshan’s last release “Yajamana”.
In the past, Dinakar had announced a film called “Sarvantharyami”, which was to be the Challenging Star’s milestone 50th, but the project was dropped. Dinakar decided to direct a youthful film called “Life Jothe Ond Selfie”, which unfortunately bombed at the box office. It also became Dinakar’s first flop in his 11-year career as a director.
To overcome this, he decided to go back to the mass genre and has been working on a script that will suit his brother. He has got the story ready and is currently working on the screenplay. Darshan has also given the green signal for the project.
