Dhruva Sarja has acted in three films so far and all of these have a common factor. All the three films are not only big hits but they have also had a delayed release. When Dhruva announced his fourth film “Pogaru”, which was to be directed by Nanda Kishore, people expected the film to be completed on time as Nanda Kishore is known for making films at a rapid pace.
However, the film has not yet been completed and now it looks like Dhruva Sarja will not have any release in 2018. The film, which is produced by BK Gangadhar, has been in the news since the time it has been announced. Initially, it was supposed to be a remake of a Telugu film. However, after Dhruva’s fans protested, the makers decided to do an original.
Nanda Kishore came with a commercial script, which was expected to be shot in China. However, due to budget issues, the film was stalled and Nanda Kishore came up with “Pogaru”. The shoot of the film finally began and Dhruva Sarja had completed a schedule sometime in April for which he lost 30 kgs in order to play a schoolboy. However, the next portions were scheduled for around the time when Dhruva got back to his normal physique.
Now, the long gap between the two schedules has led to speculations that the film has been stopped. Rubbishing the rumours, Dhruva said that as he had to lose 30 kgs, so it took time to get back to his normal physique. He also said that the team has also taken the opportunity to improve the script. He, however, refused to give any details regarding the release date of the film.
