Dheeren Kumar, the grandson of the late popular Kannada actor Dr Rajkumar, will be making his debut in Sandalwood. A few months back, we had revealed that Dheeren is going through several scripts for his debut film.
It has now been announced that popular producer-distributor, Jayanna will be producing and Anil Kumar will be directing Dheeren’s debut film.
Jayanna and Anil are currently producing and directing Yash starrer “My Name Is Kirataka”. Impressed with Anil’s work, Jayanna decided to sign him to direct Dheeren’s debut. This will be the second time that Jayanna is launching a star kid under his home banner. Last year, he had launched Manoranjan Ravichandran with “Saaheba”.
Meanwhile, rumours are doing rounds that Dheeren’s debut film will be a remake of popular Telugu film “RX 100”. Normally, we do not see Jayanna producing remakes, but it looks like he is making an exception this time. However, sources close to Dheeren are rubbishing this news saying that the film will be an original production.
