Dhananjay will soon be joining the ranks of popular actors like Puneeth Rajkumar, Darshan, Sudeep and Duniya Vijay, who have turned producers. The actor will be seen collaborating with Shankar for a film called “Badava Rascal”.
The film, produced by Gujjal Talkies, will be Shankar’s directorial debut and Gujjal Purushotham’s first production venture. Dhananjay will be bankrolling the film under the Daali Pictures banner.
Shankar has previously worked as an assistant director in Dhananjay’s Director’s Special. The muhurtham will be held on August 23 and the team will begin shooting for the film in September.
Meanwhile, Dhananjay has many other films up his sleeves. He will be starring in “Yuvarathnaa”, “Pogaru” and “Salaga” in a supporting role.
“Suri Popcorn Monkey Tiger” and Prabhu Srinivas’s upcoming film “Daali” will see Dhananjay essaying the lead role.
