Darshan’s 50th film “Kurukshetra” will wrap up shooting by December 20. The magum opus will be made in 2D and 3D and is being shot with two cameras. Around 800 people are working on the movie every day.

While 500 people are a part of the shoot, more than 300 technicians are at the edit desk, finishing off the post-production work including graphics and VFX.
With so much work being done day in and out, the team is hopeful to release the film in February 2018.

Normally big budget films like this, take time to release. However, producer Muniratna and director Naganna are working hard to release the film as soon as possible. It is said that Muniratna wants to use this film for political purposes, as he will be standing for the assembly elections again next year.

The big-budget film has an ensemble cast including Arjun Sarja, Ambareesh, Ravichandran, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Nikhil Kumar, Aditi Arya, Pavithra Lokesh among many others. The film’s music is composed by V Harikrishna and the cinematography is by Jai Vincent.
