Bengaluru: Darshan’s 50th film Kurukshetra, which was released in 2D and 3D in over 400 theatres across Karnataka on August 9 had a massive opening. With good reviews and word of mouth, the film has sustained well and is all set to be a blockbuster. The film will reportedly have distributor share of over Rs 30 crore in the first week itself in Karnataka.
The mythological film based on Mahabharata from point of view of Duryodhana has attracted the audience.
The film produced by Munirathna was also released in Telugu and is doing well in twin States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The Tamil version of the movie is releasing today. The war drama has also caught attraction outside India and is doing extremely well in the USA.
