Bengaluru: In tragic incident, a woman and her child were killed due to a cylinder explosion during the shooting of Chiranjeevi Sarja starrer ‘Ranam’, on Friday evening, March 29, at Bengaluru, around 4.15 PM.
The road near Bagalur Shell Company was blocked to shoot a fight sequence for the film. Subena (28), and her daughter Aheera (8), who were travelling from Bagalur to Sulibele stopped to watch the shooting of the film. A cylinder in the shooting spot exploded while they were watching, and both the mother and daughter died on the spot.
Reportedly, the impact of the explosion was such that bodies of both the mother and daughter have been dismembered.
