Looks like Crazy Star Ravichandran’s love for remakes is never ending. The ‘Ekangi’ actor’s next project is ‘Ravi’, which is a remake of Malayalam movie ‘Joseph’. The Malayalam version directed by M Padmakumar and written by Shahi Kabir, stars Joju George, with Dileesh Pothan, Irshad, Aathmiya, Johny Antony, Sudhi Koppa, Malavika Menon and Madhuri Braganza playing pivotal roles. The film which released in 2018 is a thriller-drama, which develops through the life of four retired policemen.
Ravichandran, who used to remake Tamil and Telugu films, is for the past few years picking up Malayalam films. He has acted in remake of successful Malayalam films like ‘Traffic’ and ‘Drishyam’.
Debutant director Ajith Sarkar will direct as well as produce ‘Ravi’. The muhurarth of the film was recently held at Somwarpet in Kodagu. The rest of the star cast is yet to be revealed.
