Karnataka native H Guru was martyred in the Pulwama terror attack when a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorist rammed an explosives-laden SUV into the bus that the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were travelling in.
The team of ‘Chemistry of Kariyappa’ had announced that it will donate it’s Sunday’s box office collections to CRPF martyr H Guru. Keeping to it’s word, the film team visited Mandya on Tuesday, February, 19, and donated the money. The team members spoke to the family members and assured them of all help and support.
Guru (33) from Gudigere village near KM Doddi from Mandya district, Karnataka, is, unfortunately, one of the 40 jawans, who lost their lives in the terror attack in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. Guru got married six months ago and was a member of the 82nd battalion of CRPF.
Chemistry of Kariyappa released last Friday. The film starring Chandan Achar and Tabla Nani got great reviews and is running successfully in box office.
