Bengaluru: Tamil actor Ajith Kumar has been a favourite among the Kannada audience, as most of his films are dubbed and released in Kannada.
The actor’s latest film, Viswasam, is still running in Karnataka theatres and the film is getting ready to be dubbed and released in Kannada as Jagamalla. The dubbing is being done at Arivu Creations.
Director Hrudaya Shiva has written the dialogues and songs for the Kannada version. The dubbed version will be distributed by Horizon Productions.
This will be Ajith’s fourth film which will be dubbed in Kannada. His films Yennai Arindal, Arambham and Vivegam have been released as Sathyadev IPS, Dheera and Commando in Kannada respectively. Out of these films, only Commando managed to rake in profits for the producers.
We will have to wait and see if Jagamalla joins the list.
