Darshan is the only actor in the Sandalwood industry, who can carry historical roles with grace. His last two historical films, “Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna” and “Kurukshetra” have been huge money spinners. He has been appreciated by critics, as well as the audience, for his performance.
Now, he is all set to don the role of the last ruler of Chitradurga in “Raja Veera Madakari Nayaka”, which will be directed by Rajendra Singh Babu. Produced by Rockline Venkatesh, the film will go on floors on February 10.
The big question now is whether Darshan will score a hattrick of historical blockbusters with this film. Looking at his track record, it looks like a cakewalk. However, the team should make sure that the film lives up to the expectations in the technical aspects also.
Nadabrahma Hamsalekha is the music director for the film, while Ashok Kashyap has been signed on for cinematography.
