Having a star’s cut out in front of theatre is a norm in South India and now director R Chandru is taking this fan craze to the next level. He has promised to bring in a tanker load of milk so that the cut out could be anointed.
Chandru’s “Kanaka” is releasing on January 26. Lead actor Duniya Vijay plays the role of an ardent fan of the thespian in the film. However, the plan is to have “the tallest ever” cutout of Dr Rajkumar on Kempegowda Road.
The director is also hiring a milk tanker to celebrate it with. The event is scheduled for January 23, two days before the film’s release when the cutout will be put up. The film is inspired by an auto driver who in real life was a fan of Rajkumar and tried to live by his idea
