Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has joined a Tuberculosis awareness campaign that was launched in Mumbai Sunday. Big B, who was instrumental in bringing a positive difference in the polio drive, not only spoke about the disease and its treatment but also revealed that he suffered from TB couple of years ago.
Further, Big B is planning to adopt a slum area in Mumbai for the treatment of Contracted Tuberculosis and said he would appeal to his film industry friends for the same.
Meanwhile, Big B will be actively involved with the campaign. He will also be the face of posters to be made for Tuberculosis awareness. On the film front, he will soon be seen in R. Balki’s ‘Shamitabh’.
