Bengaluru: Big Boss Kannada season 5 winner Chandan Shetty released the audio CD of “Asathomaya Sadgamaya” at the Chamundeshwari Studio, Bengaluru on April 2.
Speaking on the occassion, Chandan said that he liked the trailer of the movie. He said that the “Asathoma Sadgamaya” team had brought out a film with a good message. He wished success for the movie.
The director of the movie Rajesh Venoor said that the film was based on themes of relationships and intelligence. “This movie is a complete family entertainer. Recently, the trailer of the movie was released in Dubai. I am happy about the response of the audience for the trailer”, he added.
Venoor also said that there are five songs in the film. Wahab Salim has composed the lyrics and music, he added.
The producer of the film Ashwin Pereira said that the movie sheds light on the education system. “Parents are raising their children to be ‘career oriented’ and thereby the latter are losing the value of human relationships. The movie tries to deliver this message in an entertaining way. Every parent and child must watch this movie”, he said.
Ashwin said, “We will be releasing the film in the last week of April in Karnataka. We are also planning to release the film in the Gulf, UK, USA and Australia. I have plans to produce more movies, if ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’ is successful.”
Elaborating on her role in the film, Radhika Chetan said that she portrayed a character who returns from Finland in search of her roots to India. “I have taken this challenging role seriously”, she added.
Another lead actor Lasya Nagaraj said that her character was “bubbly” and matched her real nature.
Asif Iqbal,the President of Indian Economic Trade Organisation and Manu Gowda who is son of the producer B Mahadeva were the guests of honour for the event.
Speaking to the audience, Asif Iqbal said that they were encouraging Kannada cinema to reach the audience in foreign countries.
