Chikkamagaluru: The Chikkamagaluru JMFC Court has issued an arrest warrant against actor Sudeep, following a complaint by Deepak Mayur.
The court had earlier issued summons to Sudeep based on a complaint filed by Deepak regarding the non-payment for the damage inflicted on his property during the shooting of the ‘Varasdara’ TV series. Sudeep who did not respond to the summons and failed to attend the hearing, has been issued an arrest warrant.
Deepak had given his house and estate to Sudeep on rent for the shooting of his home production ‘Varasdara.’ Deepak has claimed that a lot of damage to the coffee plantation had happened during the time of the shooting, amounting to about Rs 1.5 Crore. He had asked the production team to pay for the loses, but Kichcha Creations had refused.
