After 35 years of the release of Actress Suhasini and Kamal Hassan starrer “Benkiyalli Aralida Hoo”, a new film is being made with the same title. Anupama Gowda who acted in Kannada serial “Akka”, plays a prominent role in the new film with the same title.
The original movie was directed by veteran director K Balachander.
The new “Benkiyalli Aralida Hoo” is about the plight of women working in the garments industry. Anupama Gowda, who was also in the fifth season of Bigg Boss, plays a middle class girl in this film. The shooting for the film is almost completed with just two days of shooting remaining.
The new “Benkiyalli Aralida Hoo” is being directed by Devisri Prasad. V Manohar has composed the music for the movie.
