Director Anil Kumar is known for his commercial films. Now he is all set to experiment by casting senior actors for a film titled “Kaaneyadavara Bagge Prakatane”. The movie will feature Rangayana Raghu, Ravi Shankar and Tabla Nani in the lead roles, who will play characters aged over 65 years. The makers are also bringing in Chikkanna as part of the star cast.
The subject of the film will be about human values with a blend of comedy and a little bit of suspense. The team will start shooting from August 6 and the first schedule is planned for over 20 days in Bangkok and Pattaya. The film will travel from the ‘50s to the current period. The movie is produced by Naveen Kumar while Arjun Janya has been signed on to score the music and K M Prakash will be the editor.
Anil Kumar has already completed the shooting for “Daari Tappida Maga”, which marks the debut of Dheeren Rajkumar. The film, which is now in the post-production stage, is likely to see a release in October. Anil was also supposed to direct “My Name is Kirataka” which starred Yash in lead, however, the film was postponed as Yash had to complete shooting for “KGF 2”.
