Bengaluru: Challenging Star Darshan’s cinemas create a lot of buzzes even before the shoot begins for the film. The fans wait to know the details of his role, his looks, his attire and of course his heroine in the film.
A sense of anxiousness is building up ever since news of Darshan’s latest project ‘Robert’ is out. What is making the movie all the more significant is the fact that there are all possibilities of none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being cast opposite Darshan.
Rai originally hails from Mangalore and she went on to become a global icon. What is surprising is that she has not acted even in a single Kannada cinema in her two-decade-long career, though filmmakers like Ravichandran and Upendra tried to rope her in for some films.
She was seen in a couple of Tamil films.
It is now said that the ‘Robert’ team has approached her and even narrated the story. Since the story unfurls in Kolkata, the makers wanted an actor who is fluent in Hindi too.
However, name of Rakul Preeth Singh too is making rounds here, but if Aishwarya Rai accepts the offer, then the movie will make history.
