Popular Sandalwood actress Sudharani has been honoured with the prestigious Aryabhata International Award for her service in the Kannada film industry.
The actress who shared a few pictures of her receiving the award on Instagram, posted “Received the prestigious Aryabhata International Award for excellence and service in Kannada film industry. Honoured to receive this award which has a legacy of being one of the oldest awards.”
Sudharani made her debut in the film industry with Shiva Rajkumar starrer ‘Anand.’ She has acted in many successful films including, ‘Ranaranga’, ‘Krishna Nee Kunidaga’, ‘Panchama Veda’, ‘Mysooru Mallige’ and ‘Mannina Doni’.
Sudharani has won multiple state awards and also Filmfare Awards. Currently, the actress is working in ‘Thurthu Nirgamana’ and ‘Geetha’, in which she plays pivotal roles.
