Actress Pranitha Subhash has donated a sum of Rs 1 lakh for the construction of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. She also appealed to the people to donate generously for the purpose.

Taking to Twitter with a video message, Pranitha said, "I’m making a humble initial pledge of Rs 1 lakh for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir nidhi samarpana abhiyaana. I request all of you to join hands and be a part of this historic movement."

It can be recalled that the RSS has started Ram Mandir nidhi samarpana abhiyaana as a fundraiser to fund the construction of the Ram Mandir. The volunteers are going door-to-door to collect money from the people.
