Bhavana Rao has entertained us as an actress in films like “Gaalipata” and “Vaare Vaah”. Now, she has turned choreographer for a song in the recently released Kannada film “Yaanaa”.
Bhavana is close to the film’s director Vijayalakshmi Singh as she had also worked on “Vaare Vaah”. She met Vijayalakshmi at an event and happened to talk about her interest in choreographing for films. A few weeks later, Bhavana got a call asking if she would be interested in working on a song and jumped at the opportunity.
While Bhavana has been choreographing dance performances for a variety of events over the years, this is her first big screen outing for an entire song.
She has choreographed “Awasara”, a romantic number which was shot in Kodagu.
