Bengaluru: Actor Vijay Surya of Kannada serial ‘Agni Sakshi’ fame will tie the knot on February 14. This time, however, the bride will not be Sannidhi (Vaishnavi). He will be marrying Chaitra, a software engineer and distant relative. With this, he has put a full stop to all rumours that he is marrying Vaishnavi, as they are the Kannada TV industry’s most popular couple.
“The bride’s family is a distant relative. Vijay Surya and Chaitra have known each other for the last nine years,” said sources close to the family, stating that the wedding will be held on February 14.
Surya, who acted in two Kannada movies, is popular among the Kannada TV serial viewers. He plays the lead role in “Agni Sakshi”, which has had a high viewer rating since the last four years.
