‘Junior Rebel Star’ Abhishek Ambareesh is all set to return to the silver screen nearly six months after the release of his debut film “Amar”. Abhishek’s next movie will see him working with director Prashanth Raj.
Speaking to TOI, Raj said that the untitled project is still in its pre-production phase. He said, “We are in no hurry to get the film on floors. We want to get everything right. The screenplay’s final draft should be ready shortly. His role will not only be different from the Abhishek seen in his debut film, but the film will also set a new style statement and trend of storytelling in the Kannada film industry.”
The director also confirmed that Abhishek’s new bearded look, that he sported at the Bangalore Times Fashion Week recently, was for the movie. “Yes, he is prepping for the film with many workshops and other sessions. Currently, his look and fitness have been his priority. Once the screenplay is locked, we will have workshops to discuss his character and other details,” he added.
Abhishek will start shooting for the film in January 2020, according to director Prashanth Raj.
